This is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in Allier oak barriques. It is a full-bodied wine with an intense red colour and violet hues, offering aromas of ripe red berries and notes of graphite, vanilla, tobacco and cocoa. It is harmonious and elegant, with pronounced tannins that deliver a unique sensation on the palate.

L’ettaro e mezzo di vigneto dedicato a questo vitigno si trovano fra San Casciano e Mercatale in val di Pesa in uno dei migliori areali di produzione del Chianti Classico. La zona è prettamente collinare caratterizzata da terreni moderatamente argillosi e ricchi di scheletro. The varied exposures give the grapes used to produce this splendid wine a distinctive organoleptic complexity.
