Guardians of the Land:
Our Organic Vision

We cultivate our 26 hectares in complete respect of biodiversity, combining the energy of the sun with agricultural practices that regenerate the soil and protect the integrity of every single grape.

An Ancient and Generous Soil

A hilly clay terrain rich in skeleton that pushes the roots deep to extract minerality.

The vineyards of Carus Vini sink their roots into a complex geological matrix, where the massive presence of skeleton ensures perfect natural drainage.

This conformation challenges the plant to seek nutrients in the deeper layers, giving our crus that mineral sapidity and organoleptic structure that make them unique in the Chianti Classico landscape.

Light, Air and Ideal Slopes

From 170 to 300 meters above sea level, our rows capture the perfect light for excellent phenolic ripening.

Spread across varying slopes, the vineyards enjoy privileged sun exposure that allows for diversified and complete ripening. Each parcel interacts with light differently, offering us grapes with complementary aromatic nuances.

This variety is fundamental for creating balanced blends and pure varietals characterized by extraordinary elegance.

The Balance of the Seasons

The continental climate of San Casciano protects the vine’s rest period and enhances its summer aromatic freshness.

With harsh winters and summers mitigated by hillside breezes, our microclimate is the guardian of the vivacity of our wines. Thanks to an annual average of 900 mm of rainfall, the vines maintain the right water reserve to face the summer sun in perfect balance.

The result is an impeccable harmony between acid freshness and chromatic intensity, perceptible in every glass.
